Making Job Seeking Easier for Migrants to Australia
July 24, 2008
Nadine Myers from Nab That Job! is about to embark on a Road Show, travelling around the globe to present workshops that will enable those who are migrating to Australia to smoothly transition into the Australian work force.
Each country’s job market is unique to its culture, and therefore migrants to Australia often struggle to enter the job market in Australia, due to their lack of ‘inside knowledge’. It is not their fault – they just have not had the opportunity to learn about how the Australian job market functions, and the “do’s” and “don’t’s”, when applying for jobs in Australia.
Nadine Myers is set to become Australia’s Number One Job Application Consultant for Migrants to Australia. Through her vast experience and knowledge of the market, she has established a workshop arm of her Nab That Job! business, and is about to embark on a global Road Show offering workshops to individuals who are looking to migrate to Australia.
These workshops are set in an intimate, relaxed, classroom-style environments, and are very hands on, stepping through the process of writing a winning resume from start to finish.
The workshop also provides tips and guidance on how to apply for jobs, and how to find, what is termed as, “the hidden job market”.
On completion of these workshops, students will receive a Certificate of Completion, a Resume Writing Kit including a Resume Writing Workbook, Templates, Cover Letter Writing Tips and Job Application Guidance.
Nadine will be presenting workshops in London, Scotland, Ireland, Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, Cape Town, Pretoria and Johannesbarg; with the US to be next on her agenda. Nadine is also hoping to visit Asia throughout 2009.

Hi,
Hope you can advise. I’m a 45 year old, dead keen Graphic Designer with 24 years of experience. Know I’m exceptionally talented but just can’t find a sponsor to make the move to Australia.
I’ve visited Australia in June 2008. Sent MANY CV’s out with very poor response. It’s really hard knowing you good at what you do – but you can’t get employed…
Any advise or help would be appreciated. THANK YOU!
